Alison Hagley (born May 9, 1961) is an English opera singer. ==Life== She was born in London. The soprano learned her craft at the Guildhall School of Music from 1979 to 1984, and at the National Opera Studio London in 1987. She made her stage debut in 1985 as Rodelinda in Handel's opera at the Aldeburgh Festival.〔http://www.oxfordreference.com/view/10.1093/oi/authority.20110803095915488〕 In addition, she debuted the same year in Handel's ''Flavio'' at the Batignano Festival, and 1986 in Camden in Mozart's ''La finta giardiniera'', and 1987 as Clorinda in Rossini's ''La Cenerentola''. The Glyndebourne Festival Opera has been crucial for the course of her career, and where she appeared for many years. In 1988, she appeared for the first time, when she starred in the opera, ''L'enfant et les sortilèges''.
